People use Tibetan singing bowls for many purposes, including stress reduction and pain relief. Some people use the bowls in combination with other healing practices, such as meditation and deep breathing.
Many proponents claim that the vibrations of the singing bowl can produce beneficial changes in the body by reducing stress, "harmonizing" the cells and "balance the body's energy system". Some also claim that Tibetan singing bowls can stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves.
Wear comfortable yoga clothing, bring a yoga mat, towel and/or blanket and pillow to rest easy. Room will be warm 90F.
While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, Yin Yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, Yin Yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
And Tibetan singing bowls are used given the sounds and vibration help promote a relaxed state perfect for deep meditation, creative thinking or intuitive messages.

Join Rachel Kuhn in her carefully curated Original Hot Yoga Workshop Series she brings to Hella Hot Aurora.
We're excited to offer a series of workshops that will help you gain insight into your yoga practice which will enable you to move forward newly and get more from your yoga experience. It's an opportunity for you to address your individual needs, limitations and/or questions in your most challenging, difficult or confusing posture(s).
The 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises are divided between three specific workshops - choose one, two, or attend all three (be all in!). The three curated workshops are each a 2-hour session that offers demonstrations, corrections and Q&A time in a small group setting, where the focus is on the mechanics of your body and breath for each posture.
No matter where you are in your practice, all are encouraged to attend and welcome! Even those who have been practicing for years can uncover blind spots in their practice they didn't know were there, thereby empowering new growth and new challenges to take on.
Hot room temperature will be reduced during workshops, attend the hot yoga class beforehand to warm-up (if desired).
