It's Challenge Season soon at Hella Hot Aurora! Develop healthy habits and new routines that will push you to reach your goals. This Spring, we're offering our 11, 22, 33 class challenge for all to participate.
You PICK which goal you want to crush- 11 classes, 22 classes or 33 classes between April 1 - May 5 (you can keep your goal personal and not share it). You'll have five weeks to accomplish this magnificent feat; plus you can combine hot yoga, hot Pilates and yin classes to reach your goal!
Taking on a personal challenge that we don't want to do or aren't ready for yet can have several benefits, including, Personal growth: Facing and overcoming difficult challenges can help us develop resilience, mental toughness, and confidence. It can also help us learn new skills, acquire knowledge, and gain experience. Not to mention how healthy you will look and feel as you accomplish your personal goals.

Homegrown Health Farms is family owned and operated by wives Rachel Trumbore and Sarah Campbell. The farm is located in Oswego, Illinois. They believe in the importance of localizing the food supply chain, and offering the community a local source of produce grown with organic methods. They decided to start growing microgreens because of the ability to grow them indoors using vertical farming methods. This allows them to grow fresh produce year-round, which means they are able to offer a continuous source of local greens, even in the dead of winter! They hope you enjoy your journey into a healthier, more connected diet with Homegrown Health Farms microgreens.
These microgreens are grown and harvested near you, and available for farm pick-up at the peak of freshness. Grown with organic methods and filled with essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin d, vitamin c, magnesium, fiber, and zinc, microgreens are known to be nutritional powerhouses with anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer agents.
Pick up a sample after your favorite Hella Hot morning class on Saturday, March 9th. Plus meet the farmers/owners, Rachel and Sarah, to learn more about these delicious and nutritious greens.
This 60-minute focused Workshop, "Importance of Weights", with Katie, is open to all fitness levels.
Learn the health and fitness benefits of weight loading exercises, proper breathing and movement techniques used in weighted workouts, along with understanding and preventing personal injury.
This workshop will ensure your practice is "injury and stress-free" on your body and joints.
Weights provided, 5, 8 and 10 pounds available, or bring your own clean and sanitized weights. Bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle plus notepad and pen to take notes. Beginners supported. Room heated to 95F.

My passion for general health and well-being started at a young age. Remember Jane Fonda and Jazzercize? Well that was me, leggings and all!! Since childhood, I have always been active seeking ways to improve and stay healthy; whether it be taking cardio, step class, dance class, hot yoga, vinyasa, yoga sculpt, Inferno Hot Pilates, biking, walking, hiking, tennis, running, whatever it is, MOVEMENT IS KEY always!
My journey has continually evolved, but the pathway really started with my first Hot Yoga class. I found the Bikram Original Hot Yoga series very challenging and I was determined to master it, learning advanced asana and developing a steady practice. After about eight years of practice, I then became a Yoga Teacher. I consider myself a forever student and having the role of a teacher or guide or leader has only inspired me to learn and study more. Having the honor to guide so many students propels me to attend workshops, be guided by Master Teachers, read, research, seek continuing education yearly and stay on top of my practice in yoga and develop in my teacher training.
It is what I learn through my Self discovery that inspires me to teach and since I am always searching for more challenges, I am continuously learning more and more. I believe, it is through challenge that we grow, either through body or mind.
Just eighteen months ago, I reached out to a coach. My goal was to train for my first bikini show (through bodybuilding and weight training), which I competed in Phoenix, Arizona taking 2nd, 2nd and 3rd in my Divisions (featured photo). My goal now is to gain my Pro Card on Master's National Stage this season or next!
The unique modalities I have acquired, have given me many tools in which I use these tools for myself and hope to inspire those around me to understand that they too have the same capacity within themselves. Goals may be different for each and every one of us, however, nothing is unattainable if you want it bad enough, if the desire is there as well as the belief.

Yoga and Pilates to end hunger for children while raising awareness and charity by providing children with life-saving meals and a brighter, hope-filled future. A $20 cash donation feeds a child at least 66 meals! ($106 feeds a child for a year)
We kindly suggest $20 cash or check donation the day of the event. Of course, any cash donation amount will make a difference in a child's life! Donations will be gifted to the non-profit organization Feed My Starving Children.

Over the past 10 years, our hot yoga studio has become a sanctuary for wellness enthusiasts, a place where individuals can find balance, strength and inner peace. We've witnessed countless stories of personal growth, witnessing individuals push their boundaries and discovering newfound confidence on their mats.
Our dedicated team of instructors has been the backbone of our studio, providing guidance, encouragement, and expertise to our students. Their passion for yoga /Pilates and commitment to helping others has truly made a difference in the lives of our community members.

This two-hour focused Workshop, "How To Ensure Injury-free Practice", co-hosted with Rachel Kuhn, is open to all fitness levels. This unique opportunity includes a 75-minute Foundational Workshop, covering specific alignment techniques, followed by 45-minute Inferno Hot Pilates class so you can immediately implement what you just learned. Plus a special Final Savasana / Meditation to recover and nourish your mind, body and soul.

When we relax with the sounds of Tibetan bowls or the gong, our concentration improves and our emotional tensions and blockages are eased. The sound with its vibrations can ease mental or emotional pain (low self-esteem, worries, fear, anger, anxiety, depression, insomnia)
Some people use the bowls in combination with other healing practices, such as meditation and deep breathing. And Tibetan singing bowls are used given the sounds and vibration help promote a relaxed state perfect for deep meditation, creative thinking or intuitive messages.
Wear comfortable yoga clothing, bring a yoga mat, towel and/or blanket and pillow to rest easy. Room will be warm 90F.
