Meaning that if you’re injured, if you have pain in your body, if your joints feel creaky, you can come in and take this clas, and you will literally feel better - more mobile, lighter, less pain, better sleep, less stress and more relaxed - after every single class.
Original Hot Yoga is a 90-minute, heated yoga class that transforms your body from the inside out. The set series of postures that make up this class are scientifically designed to stretch every muscle, nourish every cell, and strengthen every ligament and joint in your entire body. These specific postures also help to improve the health of your internal organ systems which leads to long-lasting vitality and overall good health.

This 60-minute, high intensity, low impact class based around Pilates Principles will strengthen your core and transform your body. Practicing this class produces fast results in both how you look and how you feel. Develop real strength, tone your stomach, legs, and arms, and get a low impact cardio workout all in one class.
Yin Yoga specifically targets dense connective tissues, joints, and fascia by bringing the body into passive, static postures (mostly practiced on the floor) that are held for relatively long periods of time, generally between 2 and 6 minutes. The emphasis is on muscle relaxation, which allows the connective tissue to be stimulated in a way that leads to better hydration, movement, and resilience. There are also powerful energetic and mental benefits to explore during a yin practice.
Yin is a fantastic complement to hot yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates classes you already take at Hella Hot Aurora. By slowing down, putting the focus on internal sensations, and positively stressing the connective tissue in your body, you’ll add a sense of mental and physical ease to the strength and flexibility that you’ve developed in your other classes.

THEME: cYoga classes always have a clearly defined theme. During the class, we move in one direction of mobility and we go deep into it. This way we prepare the body for more intense poses within that theme, the peak poses.
PEAK POSES: cYoga classes work towards peak poses. These are more challenging asanas within the theme of the class that require more preparation in order to reach further in a safe way.
SEQUENCE: the sequence is the essential component of the style. Through a carefully crafted sequence, the student is helped to prepare the body for the more intense asanas.
Ignite your practice! A private session with one-on-one yoga instruction scheduled with Hella Hot Aurora Instructor of choice.
60-minute private session is where you pick 6-9 poses (or a series: 3 balancing poses, 4 spine strengthening poses, etc.) to dissect specifically and then you and instructor spend approximately 5-8 minutes on each one (depending on how many you pick) to ensure you fully understand the pose(s) objective and mechanics.
It is highly recommended you complete a minimum 10 classes of the Original Hot Yoga series at Hella Hot Aurora. The more classes attended, the better your instructor can ensure your session is effective by having a clear understanding of your personal practice along with possible limitations, if any.
